The York College Gymnasium is home to the basketball and volleyball teams and has a capacity of 2,500 people with square footage of 17,290. A 150-meter indoor track also encircles the second floor of the facility. The gym is equipped with an indoor batting cage and can also be set up for indoor tennis, soccer, badminton, wrestling, karate, gymnastics, expos, graduations and many other types of events.

After we learned on Thursday that the Islanders’ first game at their new home UBS Arena at Belmont Park would be on November 20 th against the Calgary Flames, St. John’s announced that they will host Kansas on Friday December 3 rd in the first basketball game at the new arena that is currently under construction.

UBS Arena is a $1.5 billion multi-purpose arena under construction and development in Elmont, New York, next to the Belmont Park race track. The venue is projected to open for the 2021–22 NHL season. The arena will serve as the home of the New York Islanders of the National Hockey League (NHL) and host around 150 major events annually. UBS holds the exclusive naming rights to the arena.
Carrier Dome has a capacity of 35,454 and it's located on the campus of Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York. Two basketball teams call the venue their home – the men's and women's basketball team Syracuse Orange. It is famous for being the largest domed stadium of any college campus and in all of the Northeastern United States.
"The Prairie" accommodates Fordham's basketball and volleyball teams and is the nation's oldest on-campus arena that still serves as the primary home to a Division I basketball program.
